Hello and thank you for taking the time to look around our website.
I was born in Palmerston North where I lived until I moved to Dunedin. After completing my Bachelor of Dental Surgery and graduating with distinction, I have worked in both hospital and general practice dental settings in the deep south.
I am very passionate about teeth, smiles, dentistry, but most importantly my patients. I enjoy treating my patients with the greatest of care and discussing with them all the available options, so that together we can make the best decisions for your oral health. All of my patients know that they can ask as many questions as they like so they can have a full understanding about their smiles.
I love all areas of dentistry, but to pick a few favourites would include children’s dentistry, endodontics (root canal treatment), and complex crown and bridge dentistry. I also believe that pain-free dentistry is very important.
When I am not at work I enjoy my sports, which include cycling, running, tennis and some visits to the gym. I also enjoy spending time in the kitchen attempting to be the next top chef and keeping my friends and family well fed.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions contact me anytime, email@example.com or on my mobile 027 344 4070.
I look forward to caring for you and your smiles in the future,
Dr. Elvira Beliak
Hello! After successfully completing my Bachelor of Dental Surgery (with Credit) at Otago University, I'm really happy and enjoying working again with the great bunch of people at Dentalcare West, where I started my dental career as a dental hygienist in 1998.
I find that dentistry, especially cosmetic and periodontal aspects of it, very fascinating and I love to use all my knowledge along with my hardworking personality and desire for perfection to provide the best possible, painless treatment for the patients that come to the practice.
I enjoy spending time with my family, my three boys - two small ones Mark - 8 y.o. and Lucas - 7 y.o. and one "slightly" older - my husband, Max. We are very easy-going people and we thoroughly enjoy every minute of our life, from spending time with our friends, going fishing, biking or simply walking along the beautiful beaches we have in Auckland.
I look forward to seeing you and your families soon,

Your initial contact with Dentalcare West will be with one of our friendly administration and reception staff. They create a relaxing environment and make you feel totally at ease. They will welcome you into our practice, make your appointment and answer any questions you may have.
Our services include reminder phone calls for appointments and we run a recall system for our patients by sending out an appointment reminder, for either 6 or 12 months, for both the dentist and the hygienist.
Assisting (and sometimes bossing around) the dentists are our dental assistants. These young ladies are an integral part of our dental team. Each are certified and trained by us and the New Zealand Dental Association.
As well as assisting the dentist and running impeccable cleaning and sterilisation procedures, they will create a relaxing environment for you. They are a great team and are committed to helping patients feel at ease.
